Editorial Policy

Every tool, hub, category, and comparison page on this site is backed by a single, structured content model per page type (see the site's architecture) rather than freeform copy, which lets us apply the same review bar consistently across all 102 tools, 14 developer hubs, 26 comparisons, and 10 categories.

New or revised content is written against a documented content standard for its page type — hub pages follow a 5-section framework (core concepts, practical application, common mistakes, standards and specifications, decision guidance), tool pages include a technical reference section with explicit standards citations, and every page type carries a real FAQ section reflected in FAQPage structured data, not placeholder copy.

Before anything is published, we check it against the specific standard or specification it describes — an RFC, a NIST/FIPS publication, a W3C or WHATWG living standard, the Unicode Standard, or equivalent — rather than relying on general familiarity with the topic. Every change to this site is required to pass a full local validation pass before it ships: a TypeScript type check, ESLint with zero warnings tolerated, the full automated test suite (unit and route-level rendering tests across every tool, hub, category, and comparison page), and a full static production build that regenerates the sitemap and pre-renders every route.

We are direct about where a tool's underlying logic is a simplified or illustrative implementation rather than a full, spec-complete parser or cryptographic library — see How Calculations Work for the Limitations section that discloses this per tool family. Overstating what a browser-only tool actually verifies would be a worse trust failure than the limitation itself.

Content is revisited when a tool, hub, or comparison is found to be templated, thin, or out of date relative to the standard it documents — not on a fixed calendar schedule. This site does not fabricate per-page "last updated" timestamps; where we show a review or update date, it reflects a real content change, not a cosmetic refresh meant to look active.

Sitewide structural facts (tool count, hub count, comparison count) shown across the site and below are computed directly from the same data the pages themselves render from, so they cannot drift out of sync with what is actually published.

If you find an inaccurate standards citation, an incorrect explanation, or a tool that produces output inconsistent with the specification it claims to follow, we want to know. Report it to support@scriptpulse.tools with the page URL and the specific claim in question.

Corrections are prioritized by severity: a wrong standards citation or an incorrect security claim is treated as higher priority than a wording or formatting issue, and is corrected directly in the source content rather than patched over with a caveat.
